Formal was a HUGE SUCCESS!

This year’s Social Science Bollywood Formal was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to everyone that came out, I sincerely hope you had as incredible a night as I did!A special thank you to Debbie Haines and the Hilton staff, Mark Russell, the Western Ismaili Students Association Dance Team, the Western Punjabi Association Dance Team, Val Bardorf, Bre Russell, Mara Markham, Christine Luong, Yalda Paydar, Kali Hopkins Allen, Greg Poworoznyk and Steph Schuurman for helping me and adding to the fabulousness of the night – it wouldn’t have been the event it was without any of you!

Charity Launch Party=Success

On Thursday, October 29th the SSSC on behalf of the Faculty of Social Science threw it's official Charity Launch Party for its new affiliation with the Children's Health Foundation at the Barking Frog. The night was a big success and everyone had a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our new and exciting philanthropic endeavors! This is a big step for the SSSC and for Social Science and we are beyond thrilled that everyone is on board with this initiative. And to think this is all just the beginning...

The Social Science Students' Council is proud to announce its newfound affiliation and commitment to support the Children's Health Foundation.

Since the summer, Michelle Mah, Charity Commissioner, and Lauren Alboini, VP Student Affairs, have been busy planning and developing a new charity initiative for the SSSC to adopt this year.
