What is the Summer Experience Award?
The Summer Experience Award is a $2000 award for up to 5 eligible students who will be participating in an un-paid summer work experience that supports their future career goals. The program is a partnership between the Social Science Students’ Council and Social Science Career Services. These funds were made available from the Social Science Student Donation.

When is the application deadline?
Applications must be submitted in person to Social Science Career Services in room 2040 SSC by 4:30pm on March 24th, 2011. Acceptance notices will be sent out by e-mail no later than April 22, 2011.
What are the criteria used for selecting students to receive awards?
The SSSC is composed of over 60 students from within the Faculty of Social Science, including elected executives and representatives, appointed commissioners and members-at-large. Please select the sections on this page to learn more about the various SSSC positions and their duties.
